This palace is famous for being the home of the legendary King Minos who is famous for ordering Daedalus to construct the labyrinth which was made to contain his son, the mythical Minotaur.

7. Corfu

The historic Corfu Town is painted in warm orange and brown tones, which contrast beautifully with the sea's turquoise blue.

Delphi was regarded as a mystical site by the ancient Greeks and was considered to be the center of the world.

4. Melissani Cave, Kefalonia
Melissani Cave is an underground lake located on the island of Kefalonia - it’s a truly magical place to visit!
The cave is small but has an opening at its highest point which allows sunlight to spill into the cave, making the turquoise water seem to glow.
You can book a tour to visit the caves by boat. Although the tour is relatively short, the island of Kefalonia, or Cephalonia, has plenty of entertainment to offer including sparkling beaches and delicious food.
3. Mount Olympus
Mount Olympus is, as the name would suggest, a mountain.
But according to Greek mythology, it’s so much more than that - it’s said to be the home of Zeus and the other Gods and Goddesses whose stories intertwined with his.
When you see it in person you’ll understand why it inspired so many and why it would seem mythical - it rises nearly 9570 feet from the Aegean Sea, making it the tallest mountain in Greece.
When you visit you can admire the smaller slopes, gorges, and waterfalls, or even challenge yourself to the complete hike, which takes two to three days.
2. Mykonos
If you're looking for a fantastic beach getaway or a legendary nightlife scene, Mykonos is the place to go.
This is also one of the most popular Greek islands to visit, and you've probably seen photos of it on blogs or social media.
Mykonos is also well-known for its outstanding culinary offerings. You can sample some regional specialties such as kopanisti, a spicy and salty cheese, and louza, a delicately prepared pork dish.
